THE STORY BEHIND THE HAT
After getting diagnosed with multiple chronic illnesses like gastroparesis, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), and POTS, I ended up needing to get a feeding tube to help me live.
Everything changed almost overnight. I was lost, confused, upset, sad, and frustrated and didn't recognize my life or myself anymore.
I felt so alone and afraid, but I knew there had to be other people going through the same thing I was.
I wanted to find a way to cope and help anyone who has a chronic illness to feel beautiful, brave, and loved, so I made these sweatshirts as a reminder of what we are.
Each time I put on one of these sweatshirts, I can’t help but smile and feel a little less alone. I hope that it can do the same for you.
No matter what you are going through, just know that you have people who love you and are fighting with you too.
